Most maintenance works at the plants and
network of sewerage pipelines are performed by IWK staff. To give
opportunity to contractors, IWK has opportunities for the following

Most of these works do not require in depth skills. Most Bumiputera
contractors is able to carried out the works well and only requires
minimum capital.
Selection of contractor will be conducted by the State Operation
Units. Contractors are advised to contact directly with the Operations
Unit nearest to them. |

| Scope of Work |
Involves the cutting of grass once
very 30 days (30-days cycle) at the listed plants. Contractor
is also required to dispose tree branches, leaves and rubbish
in the plant compound. |

Contractor
with own grass cutting equipment and employees. Registered
with the Ministry of Finance & IWK is required. |

| Estimated Value of Contract: |
Contract is awarded for a period
of one year and contract value from RM20,000 to RM200,000. This
is dependent on the space area that needs grass cutting and
number of plants that need maintenance. |

Selection is conducted by tender
on once a year basis by the State Operation Units. Contractor
who wish to participate can contact the respective State Opertion
Unit. |

Contractor is required to register
with Procurement Dept. IWK Head Office and possess experience
in repairing pipelines |

Contract value depends on the extent
of the damage to the IWK pipelines. Operation Unit which has
complete connection systems experience frequent problems. |

Selection of
contractor is conducted at the State Operation Unit by open
tender. Contractor can contact
the Unit Manager directly to be included in the selection.
The selection criteria is dependent on experience, employees'
capability, financial standing and equipment. |

Involves minor repair works on mechanical

possess workshop and skilled employees |

Contract value is substantial for
bigger Operations Unit as compared to small Operations Unit. |

by Operations Unit with Head Office Procurement Dept. The selection
criteria is dependent on the competitive price and workshop

Company must be registered with the
Ministry of Finance and has security experience for at least

Cleaning of sludge drying bed by
clearing sludge cake and sand. Transporting sludge cake to approved
disposal site. Supply and flatten the sand evenly on the drying

Civil contractor who has own employees
and lorry. Priority will be given to landscape contractor who
needs sludge cake for planting. |
